Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is seeking a Management professional to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will analyze store P&L, manage labor costs, mentor staff, and ensure food safety and quality across shifts.

A strong leadership presence will help you recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team while maintaining hospitality excellence. Your responsibilities include menu mastery, catering coordination, and upholding Health Department standards, with

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have minimum 3 years of upper management experience.
• Strong work ethic and passion for fresh food.

• Experience building, developing and mentoring a team.
• Able to set and hit goals.
• Knowledge of restaurant Profit and Loss statements.
• Proficient with Google Suite and basic computer literacy.
• Excellent leadership, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, train, retain and motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Creating weekly staff schedules to balance development and labor costs.
• Setting the tone for shifts and guiding staff toward goals.
• Mentoring staff and managing quality crew development and evaluations.
• Ensuring food safety expertise and proper food handling.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Preparing catering orders with the team.
• Supporting or working at stations as needed (kitchen included).
• Ordering products, supplies, and produce.
• Screening and onboarding hourly employees.
• Ensuring proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Serving guests and building meaningful connections.
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout shifts.

Job Summary

Management Positions are Full Time only.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing your store’s P&L and deciding a path to reach your cost goals
• Writing a weekly staff schedule to achieve both people development and labor cost goals
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your staff about their goals and duties
• Supervising and mentoring your staff members and managing quality crew development, motivation, training, and evaluations
• Being an expert in Food Safety
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Preparing catering orders with your team
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
• Ordering products, supplies, and produce
• Screening, interviewing, and onboarding hourly employees
• Proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Ensuring proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 3 years of upper management experience

Your Working Conditions / Hours

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm
• Mid shift - 10am to 8pm
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
