Job summary

JMI Recruiting Services is assisting our client in the Philadelphia, PA area to fill a General Manager position. The role leads multisite operations, drives strategic planning, and ensures financial performance with a $50M+ P&L responsibility.

The ideal candidate has extensive senior leadership experience, a proven growth track record, and preferably a background in aerospace manufacturing or distribution. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior leadership role within a multisite operation.
• Experience managing profit and loss in the $50M+ range.
• Proven track record in executing growth strategies and using data for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive long-term strategic plan, establishing clear targets and timelines. Ensure successful execution through accountability and effective problem-solving.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and the CFO to approve short-term objectives and secure the necessary funding to achieve long-term goals.
• Take responsibility for meeting all financial targets set during the annual planning process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Cultivate a highly effective organization by selecting, training, and motivating team members.
• Partner with the Human Resources Director to review and align organizational and staffing plans with the division's objectives, ensuring competitiveness.
• Design an organizational structure that promotes growth and accountability while maintaining essential operational controls across the business.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, clients, and partners, facilitating effective communication regarding the external impact of internal operations.
• Explore and assess opportunities for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, alliances, and expansion versus outsourcing to drive group growth.
