Job summary

Twenty Four Seven Hotels is seeking an experienced General Manager for TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Cal Expo. You will lead the property to brand standards and owner expectations, crafting inspired workplaces that empower associates to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maximize investor returns.

Responsibilities include driving revenue through sales, managing forecasts and budgets, and ensuring cost controls and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Manager in a property of similar size (5+ years).
• Experience at a premium-branded hotel; IHG preferred.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of local competition and industry trends.

• Identify operational performance gaps and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports including forecasting, labor and revenue reports.
• Develop the annual business plan and budget.

• Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
• Monitor cost controls to maximize profits.
• Enforce and maintain a preventative maintenance program.

Our TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Cal Expo is currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional to serve as General Manager and led the property to brand standards and Owner expectations. As part of the property team you will help us \"craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns\"! Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to guests and associates alike
• Ability to identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct deficiencies
• Must be able to prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports to include forecasting, labor control and revenue reports
• Develop the annual business plan and budget
• Have thorough understanding of revenue management
• Must be highly focused on Sales at the hotel on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Monitor and execute the daily, weekly, monthly sales action steps as outlined in the marketing plan and lead the sales team to high levels of revenue generation
• Have a thorough knowledge of necessary cost controls and procedures to maximize monthly and annual profits
• Protects the hotel and its assets through enforcing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program

Education and Experience

• Experience being a General Manager in like sized property, five years or more
• Experience at a premium-branded hotel required, IHG preferred
• Knowledge of local competition and industry trends
• Strong leadership and professional image
• Excellent decision making ability and analytical skills
• Be able to multi-task various job duties daily
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
