Job summary

Workstream is seeking a General Manager for Applebee's in West Chester Township, Ohio. Job Summary

The General Manager contributes to the success of Applebee's through the direction and control of restaurant operations to ensure a positive guest experience and company profitability. The General Manager’s responsibility is to direct the operation of the restaurant, attain sales and profit objectives, and maintain the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation by directing and supervising managers and team members.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of foodservice management experience; QSR or casual dining GM experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required. An associate or a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• ServeSafe Certification preferred (training may be provided)
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift) Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders, occasionally for maintenance checks
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Operate POS systems, kitchen equipment, computers, and other standard devices
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
