Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions seeks a General Manager in Oklahoma City to own the regional P&L across multiple sites and business units. You will lead fleet operations, driver utilization, and site managers while ensuring DOT compliance and safety standards.

You will drive revenue growth, manage key customer relationships, and oversee staffing with Talent Acquisition. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operations across a growing regional footprint.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multi-site or regional operations management experience.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and financial management experience.
  • Experience managing DOT-regulated drivers and fleets.
  • Waste/logistics industry experience preferred.
  • Track record of improving operational performance and revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership of geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with standard business software; ability to work with financial data.

General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
P&L and Financial Management
  • Own the full P&L for your region across multiple sites and business units.
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive profitability.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets; analyze variances and implement corrective action.
  • Report financial results and operational metrics to senior leadership on a regular basis.
Fleet and Driver Operations
  • Oversee all fleet operations within your region, including routing, maintenance schedules, and vehicle utilization.
  • Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations across all drivers and vehicles.
  • Partner with dispatch and site managers to maximize driver productivity and service reliability.
  • Monitor driver performance, safety records, and hours-of-service compliance.
People and Personnel
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable all site managers and operational staff within your region.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs and support retention efforts across your sites.
  • Address employee relations issues promptly and in line with company policy.
  • Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Sales and Customer Relations
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and retention of existing accounts.
  • Support site-level sales efforts and step in on key accounts or escalations as needed.
  • Monitor service levels and respond to customer concerns with a sense of urgency.
Operations and Service
  • Ensure consistent service delivery across all sites within your region.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve performance and reduce cost.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 or more years of multi-site or regional operations management experience required.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and financial management experience required.
  • Experience managing DOT-regulated drivers and fleets required.
  • Solid waste, waste hauling, logistics, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of improving operational performance and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and hold accountable a geographically dispersed team.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with standard business and operations software; ability to work with financial reports and data.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Primarily office and field-based work across multiple sites within the region.
  • Regular travel to sites within your region required; some overnight travel may be needed.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, heavy equipment, and active operational environments during site visits.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and travel for extended periods.
