Job summary

McDonald’s in Torrance, CA seeks a General Manager to oversee all restaurant operations, including food production, guest service and team leadership. You will direct crew and managers, drive hiring and onboarding, and manage staffing, training and performance to uphold McDonald’s standards.

You’ll plan inventory, budgeting and costs, ensure food safety, and maintain a safe, high‑quality guest experience while guiding everyday decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred; commitment to excellence and safety.
• Passion for helping and serving others (customers and team).
• 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others or US Military service.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Effective communication and anticipation of customer needs.
• Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you’ll:

• Lead the experience: Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including food production, guest service and experience, and direct crew and manager work

To be a successful General Manager, you’ll need:
