7th Street Burger Stamford is seeking a General Manager to own and run the shop, driving sales, labor management, and inventory control. You will lead a team, recruit and train staff, and ensure top-notch customer experiences while maintaining health and safety standards.

As we scale the brand, successful leaders will influence growth, profitability, and community engagement, with profit sharing tied to shop performance and a potential total compensation above $100k.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing a high-volume restaurant or QSR location.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
• Comfortable managing P&L, scheduling, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Own your shop's P&L: drive sales and manage labor and COGS.
• Ensure every order meets quality standards and customers have a great experience.
• Hire, train, and develop your team, giving honest feedback.
• Build efficient schedules based on business needs.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, equipment, and cash management.
• Ensure health, safety, and labor regulation compliance including audits.
• Organize community engagement events to make your shop a neighborhood spot.

7th Street Burger was founded in 2021 by two college friends with one simple idea — make great burgers, keep it simple, and stay true to our roots. What started as a single East Village shop has grown into 30+ locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston, and DC, with plans to scale throughout the Northeast. Annual Compensation:

$67,000 + Profit Sharing Bonus, with potential to earn $100,000+ of total compensation!

At 7th Street Burger, our General Managers own their four walls: the burgers, the customers, the crew, and the numbers, running their shop like they own it. What you’ll do:

• Own your shop's P&L: drive sales and manage labor and COGS
• Ensure every order meets our quality standards, and every customer gets a great experience
• Hire, train, and develop your team, giving honest feedback and making the tough calls when needed
• Build efficient schedules based on the needs of the business
• Monitor inventory, ordering, equipment, and cash management to keep the shop running smoothly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations, including audits and inspections
• Organize community engagement events that make your shop a neighborhood spot

What qualifications you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of experience managing a high-volume restaurant or QSR location
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop a team
• Comfortable managing P&L, scheduling, and inventory
• Food safety certification, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexible availability for late nights (3:00am), weekends, and holidays
• Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS!
