Bradford Consolidation Logistics (BCL) is seeking a General Manager to oversee a central receiving and storage center, loading dock operations, and vendor relationships in a fast‑growing logistics environment. You will lead Operations Managers and Logistics Technicians to boost warehouse efficiency and customer service, driving KPIs and upholding BCL’s values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of leadership experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
• 5+ years of experience managing teammates and teams, including hiring, coaching, development, and performance improvement.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with ability to drive objectives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, especially with executives using PowerPoint and media.
• Proven ability to use data for quantitative analysis, root-cause analysis, and action plans.
• Strong customer focus, planning, organization, networking, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

To thrive as a General Manager, you should have these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of leadership experience in a directly related industry, such as logistics or warehouse operations.
• 5+ years of experience managing teammates and teams, including hiring, coaching, development, and performance improvement.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive short- and long-term objectives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, particularly when communicating with executives and stakeholders using PowerPoint and other media.
• Proven ability to use data for quantitative analysis, conduct root cause analysis, and develop and execute effective action plans.
• Strong customer focus, planning, organization, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Proficiency with word processing, email, database, internet, and other business technology tools, with strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.

Your responsibilities as a General Manager will include:

• Implement company goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and process improvements to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure warehouse teams are fully trained, professional, self-motivated, client-focused, and compliant with all security, safety, and company requirements.
• Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to uphold BCL’s performance standards, resolve issues efficiently, and cultivate strong relationships.
• Develop operating procedures, policies, and Professional Development Plans (PDPs) to achieve financial targets, KPIs, and contractual metrics.
• Provide consistent leadership and coordinate with Operations Managers and other functional areas to optimize production, staffing, vehicle utilization, and material handling equipment.
• Manage daily logistics operations, delivery volumes, vendors, and logistics technicians while ensuring safe and efficient warehouse performance.
• Monitor operational reporting, develop staff in logistics, customer service, regulatory compliance, and operations, and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual process improvements.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel if requested
• Assist in the protection of BCL’s Intellectual Property and Proprietary Operating Procedures Activities
