Position Summary
The General Manager is theHead Coach of Game On. Youare responsible forevery aspect of the restaurant's success—from creating an electric atmosphere on game days to building a winning team, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring every guest leaves wanting to come back for the next big game.
This is a hands-on leadership position.You'llbe visible on the floor, coaching your team, engaging with guests, solving problems, and leading by example.
What You'll Do
Lead the Team
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop an exceptional management and hourly team.
- Create a culture built on hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and fun.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings that energize andpreparethe team.
- Hold managers and staff accountable to performance standards.
- Build future leaders through coaching and development.
Own the Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives genuine, memorable hospitality.
- Create an exciting game-day atmosphere before, during, and after every event.
- Personally interact with guests and build relationships with regulars.
- Resolve guest concernsimmediatelyand professionally.
- Maintain exceptional food, beverage, cleanliness, and service standards.
Drive the Business
- Manage sales, labor, food cost, beverage cost, and profitability.
- Analyze financial reports and create action plans.
- Increase sales through local marketing, community involvement, andspecial events.
- Maximize revenue during major sporting events.
- Execute promotions flawlessly.
Operations Excellence
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance.
- Maintain all restaurant equipment and facilities.
- Manage inventory andpurchasing.
- Create efficient schedules that balance service and labor goals.
- Ensure every shift runs smoothly and efficiently.
What We're Looking For
You Must:
- Be a genuine sports fanatic who follows professional and college sports.
- Love the excitement of game days and major sporting events.
- Have experience leading high-volume restaurants, sports bars, or hospitality operations.
- Be an energetic, visible leader who leads from the floor—not the office.
- Thrive under pressure and make smart decisions quickly.
- Have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Be passionate about developing people.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
- 2+ years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- High-volume restaurant or sports bar experience.
- Strong P&L management experience.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, labor management, and financial reporting.
- ServSafeFood Manager Certification (or ability to obtain).
- TIPS or alcohol certification (whererequired).

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range:$87,000-$100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
