Responsibilities

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role requires setting the restaurant’s goals with leadership, creating action plans, and guiding a team of Department Managers to achieve those goals. The General Manager also leads a team of Department and Shift Managers, provides coaching, and ensures the restaurant’s operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
