As a General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day restaurant operations. While managing food and labor costs, you will recruit, hire, and train team members helping them understand what success looks like. In other words: let’s do whatever it takes to make kick-ass sandwiches for our customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Store Operations & Efficiency: Oversee daily opening/closing procedures, bread baking, produce prep, meat slicing, and line assembly. Jump onto the line or register during peak rush periods to maintain speed and order accuracy.
• Team Leadership & Staffing: Recruit, hire, schedule, train, and manage assistant managers, shift leads ("PICs"), line staff ("InShoppers"), and delivery drivers.
• Financial & Cost Management: Drive profitability by managing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), labor costs, inventory ordering, waste reduction, cash handling, and daily/weekly financial reports.
• Delivery Operations: Route deliveries and manage driver flow to maximize speed and coverage.
• Brand Integrity & Quality Control: Execute Jimmy John’s systems, recipes, and cleaning protocols with 100% adherence to corporate brand standards. Ensure full compliance with health department regulations and food safety guidelines.
