Job summary

Vibrant LLC / Vibrant SCL, LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead our Supported Community Living programs across multiple sites. You will report to the COO and align local operations with corporate objectives, while guiding staff and ensuring high-quality services.

The role requires hands-on leadership, regular office work, travel between program locations, on-call responsiveness, and strong focus on staff development, policy compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading group homes/host home programs or similar community-based services.
• Experience working with individuals in supported living services.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to de-escalate situations.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and evaluate the Group Home Manager and Host Home Program Manager(s).
• Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for group home, host home, and SCL services.
• Monitor program operations to ensure services are delivered consistently, safely, efficiently and in accordance with policies.
• Ensure adequate staffing coverage and respond to staffing shortages, emergencies and other needs.
• Conduct regular visits to program locations and maintain visibility with staff and individuals receiving services.
• Coordinate with COO on HR and program compliance.
• Participate in strategic planning and organizational initiatives related to SCL services.
• Assist executive leadership with program development, budgeting and long-term planning.
• Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability for staff.
• Provide ongoing training as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

General Manager :

The General Manager is part of the leadership team that reports directly to the COO Vibrant LLC/ Vibrant SCL, LLC. The General Manager works strategically with leadership to successfully execute local, regional and corporate initiatives within the organization. The General Manager will be involved in key initiatives and ensuring those initiatives are aligned with the business objectives.

The General Manager - is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, quality, and operational performance of the organization's Supported Community Living (SCL) programs. This position provides strategic and day-to-day oversight of group home services, host home services, and SCL services while ensuring individuals receive services experience, person-centered, and high-quality support.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring regular office work, travel between program locations, participation in meetings, response to operational issues, and availability for on-call responsibilities.

Hours:

Monday through Thursday 8AM - 5PM, Fridays 8 AM - Noon or 5 PM (explained during interview).

• Coordinate with team in relation to the management of client's service utilization
• Participate in strategic planning and organizational initiatives related to SCL services.
• Assist executive leadership with program development, expansion, budgeting, and long-term planning.
• Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability for program managers and supervisory staff.
• Provide ongoing/additional training as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Experience managing group homes, host home programs, SCL services, or similar community-based services.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other populations receiving Supported Community Living supports.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to de-escalate situations
• Computer/keyboarding skills: Microsoft office, excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide customer service to all types of people of different age, race, gender, socioeconomic status and special needs.
• Experience developing policies, procedures, quality improvement plans, and corrective action plans.
• Experience managing multiple locations and supervisory-level employees.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player
