Panera Bread in Modesto, CA is seeking a General Manager to lead the bakery-cafe operations, hire and train staff, manage performance, and ensure exceptional guest service. You will drive staffing, scheduling, and people development, while implementing Panera's strategies and maintaining cost controls.

This role requires ServSafe certification, 3+ years GM experience, and flexibility for nights/weekends in a fast-paced environment, with competitive pay and benefits.

• Manage team performance to meet goals, operations and quality standards, and extraordinary guest service.
• Develop managers on people processes and Panera's Guiding Values & Behaviors.
• Follow procedures to ensure the bakery-cafe executes company strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests.
• Maintain health, food safety, and company policy compliance; manage costs and inventory.

As a General Manager, at Panera, Your Role Includes:

• Responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe workplace for your team that meets Panera's health, food, safety, and company culture standards.
• Responsible for maintaining the bakery-cafe's overall costs and inventory.

This Opportunity Is for You If:

• Minimum age: 18 years of age.
• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).

• This role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends in a faced-paced environment with shifting priorities.
