Morrison Living in the United States is seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a senior living community account. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking ability, and superior food quality and customer service. You will oversee budgeting, staff development, and client relations to ensure exemplary dining experiences.

The position emphasizes leadership, menu development with the Chef, and implementing culinary programs in alignment with brand standards.

Qualifications

• BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
• Five years of foodservice operation experience required.
• High volume production and catering experience essential.
• Previous experience managing a budget.
• Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting for the account.
• Manages day-to-day operations of the account.
• Conducts HR responsibilities including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training.
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client and other departments.
• Works with the Chef and management team to create menus and top quality food.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with Company marketing and culinary team.

Education

BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred

Five years of foodservice operation experience

Budget management experience

Strong leadership and team development

High volume production and catering experience

Job Summary

The General Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, holds duties related to day to day operations of a senior living community account. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations and ensures superior food quality and strong customer service skills.
