Job summary

McDonald’s in Middletown, OH is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations and guest experiences. You’ll oversee food production, service quality, and direct crew and managers, while driving People processes like recruitment and onboarding.

Excellence in safety and customer satisfaction is essential as you manage staffing and performance. Strong leadership, communication, and a proven ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment are required.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• Passion for helping and serving others (customers and team).
• 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others OR US Military Service.
• A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Effective communication and the ability to anticipate customer needs; and
• Ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the experience: Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including food production, guest service and experience, and direct crew and manager work.
• Plan for success: Proactively lead and manage all People processes including Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding.
• Staffing and performance management responsibilities are key for daily operations.
• Train, coach and motivate team members to uphold standards.
• Oversee inventory, budget, food ordering and costs to support operational goals.
• Ensure food safety measures meet McDonald’s standards of excellence.
• Maintain high safety standards for guests and employees and drive results.

This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you’ll:

To Be a Successful General Manager, You’ll Need
