Job summary

McDonald’s in Marion, OH is seeking a General Manager to lead all restaurant operations, balancing food production, guest service, and team leadership to deliver excellence every shift.

You will recruit, onboard, train and develop staff, manage inventory and budget decisions, and uphold McDonald’s safety and quality standards while driving profitable growth.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• Experience leading, motivating and/or developing others (1+ years) or US Military service.
• Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs.
• Provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant experience: Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including food production, guest service and experience, and direct crew and manager work.
• Plan for success: Proactively lead and manage all People processes including but not limited to Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding.
• Staffing and Performance Management.
• Train, coach and motivate staff.
• Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budget, and food ordering/costs.
• Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence.
• Maintain high level of guest and employee safety.
• Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.

This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you’ll:

To be a successful General Manager, you’ll need:

• Strong customer service and support focus;

• The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs; and
