Responsibilities

• Responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Set an example for crew and enforce ALL policy and procedures.
• Handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, maintain a perfect image, adhere to standards, deliver great customer service, maintain attendance and punctuality, manage transportation to/from work, maintain store cleanliness, assist with marketing, and ensure profitability.
• Work Conditions: exposure to varying weather when removing trash and other outside tasks; in-store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some areas; sudden temperature changes; fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters such as walk-in cooler; hot surfaces/tools (oven up to 500°F or higher); sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to talk and hear on telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, make judgments and decisions.
• Deliver product by car to customers; deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle; navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes.
