Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions seeks a General Manager to lead and grow the operational business in the assigned region. You will develop and execute a one-year business plan emphasizing safe operations, top-tier customer service, employee retention, and financial growth.

You will manage multi-state operations, drive profitability with P&L responsibility, and build a high-performing team while expanding hydrovac services across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years' experience in relevant industries (vacuum/pump trucks, underground construction, trucking, utilities).
• 5+ years full profit and loss management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a 1–2 year regional business plan aligned with corporate strategy.
• Enhances area strategic positioning and growth.
• Designs operating and financial plans for the region including HR, markets, and partners.
• Grows the region's business at a robust pace and recruits local management.
• Expands hydrovac services through education, awareness, and market development.
• Collaborates with Finance to plan budgets and monitor adherence.

The General Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing Badger's operational business in the assigned region. This position is accountable for developing and executing a one-year business plan with a view of safe operations, excellent customer service, employee retention, enhance financial performance and growth of the business.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develops and executes a 1-2-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager's business plan.
• Enhances area strategic positioning.
• Designs the development and subsequent implementation (after approval) of operational and business plan for the Region. This plan includes identification of key market areas, key industry segments, operating partner or corporate location requirements, operational and finance planning plus human resources.
• Grows Badger's business in the Region at a robust pace ensuring the foundation is built for long term success. This requires identification of key market areas of solid sustainable business and then finding the right local manager to grow the business and manage the local trucks.
• Continues to expand the need for Badger's Hydrovac services through education, awareness, and market development to provide sustained growth.
• Works with the U.S. Finance and Administration Manager to ensure financial planning, controls and information is adequate. Must prepare budget for region and follow it throughout the year.
