General Manager Job Description

General Managers are responsible for meeting studio sales goals, membership renewals, and ancillary service goals through strategic customer outreach, in-club leads, and securing member referrals. Under the management of a Franchise Owner and support from the Corporate Team, General Managers must exemplify leadership qualities in all areas of the business. They should build lasting relationships with prospective and current members to foster a strong community and retain members. The role is rooted in hospitality and aligns with our Mission of fueling energetic communal experiences.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
  • Confidence in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps.
  • Ability to manage and drive revenue from memberships and retail.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment.
  • Good judgment to recognize areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Passion for fitness.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized with proficiency in data management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the public.
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.
Duties
  • Lead Generation: Engage in marketing efforts to generate leads.
  • Lead Management: Use the LASER process to convert leads into members.
  • Member Relations: Build rapport, retain members, and generate referrals.
  • Handle member concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Front Desk/Sales Team: Hire, train, and manage team performance.
  • Financial Performance: Collaborate to set and meet sales targets.
  • Operations: Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and technology functionality.
