Job summary

Compass Group USA, the leader in foodservice and support services, seeks a General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a company account. You will report to the Regional Vice President and must communicate effectively, multi-task, and lead a team while delivering exceptional food quality and customer service.

Key duties include managing P&L and budgeting, HR activities such as hiring and performance counseling, scheduling and payroll, and training staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
• Five years of foodservice operation experience.
• High volume production and catering experience essential.
• Previous experience managing a budget.
• Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting for the account.
• Manages day-to-day operations of the account.
• Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training.
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and client and collaborates with other departments.
• Works with the Chef and management team to create menus and launch culinary programs with marketing.

Job Summary

The General Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, holds duties related to day to day operations of a Company account. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations and ensures superior food quality and strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
