Job summary

Jimmy John's in Minnesota is seeking a General Manager to oversee all in-store operations, including staffing, food safety, inventory/COGS, and cash handling. The role requires strong leadership to ensure the store remains in excellent order and that employees perform duties efficiently with integrity.

This is a bonus-eligible position, with requirements including a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and certification in Jimmy John Manager and ServSafe Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 30–40 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop during shifts.
• Able to maneuver in walk-in refrigerator/freezer (40°F to -10°F).
• Work 40+ hours per week.
• Jimmy John Manager Certification required.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required.
• Basic knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook/Adobe Acrobat.
• Capable of training all roles (Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper, Delivery Driver).
• Manage fast-paced, high-stress situations; prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Willing to coach and supervise staff.

General Managers oversee all aspects of in-store operations, including but not limited to staffing/scheduling, food safety, inventory/stock ordering, COGS management, cash handling and brand compliance.

The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. General Managers must be self-motivated individuals who have superior leadership skills and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. This is a Bonus-eligible position.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver license, car and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
