Job summary

The Hudson Restaurant Group is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, guest satisfaction, and team performance at the Columbia, TN location. You will hire, onboard, train, and develop talent while upholding brand standards and financial targets.

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring food, beverage, service, and cleanliness meet brand standards.
• Develop and implement transaction growth initiatives.
• Engage employees during shifts to set the tone for culture and performance.
• Partner with AGM on hiring process and staffing levels.
• Monitor Workstream to maintain a healthy flow of candidates.
• Conduct second-round interviews and make final hiring decisions.
• Review store cleanliness checklists.
• Sign off on inventory and vendor purchasing.
• Monitor Crunchtime (actual vs. theoretical costs).
• Sign off on weekly schedule prepared by AGM.
• Sign off on weekly scorecard goals.
• Lead the Monday manager meeting to review prior week performance and set goals for the upcoming week.
• Monitor maintenance needs and report to Above-Store Manager.
• Maintain current employee files and communicate terminations to [e-mail].
• Review P&L report with the above-store leadership.
• Review P&L with AGM.
• Identify staff with potential for growth and advancement within the organization.
• Office organization and compliance.
• Outside storage closet cleanliness and organization.
• Lead by example, modeling professionalism, accountability, and the core values of the brand.
• Build and sustain a strong culture by hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Balance operational excellence with team development and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure the restaurant is consistently audit-ready (Steritech, health, and brand inspections).

Job description

The General Manager oversees all aspects of the restaurant, including hiring, onboarding, training, operations, and financial performance. The GM’s primary responsibility is to hire the right people, place them in the right roles, and provide the support they need to succeed. The GM is expected to uphold high standards and model the core values of the brand, ensuring the restaurant consistently delivers on guest satisfaction, team culture, and profitability.
