Concord Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for the Homewood Suites, 1st Ward, Charlotte, NC. This 13-story upscale hotel has 209 suites, 4,000 sq ft of retail, 3,500 sq ft of flexible meeting space, a fitness center, pool and lounge with a large outdoor terrace near UNC Charlotte Center City.

You will hire, inspire and lead a winning team, collaborate with brand and owners, manage brand training, deadlines and budgets, and engage city officials as the hotel face.

Qualifications

• Hilton experience preferred and prior GM experience.
• Charlotte market experience desirable.
• Great sales and networking skills to assist a sales & marketing team.
• Proven track record of driving GSS.
• Hired, mentored and led teams to outstanding results.
• Hands on ability to deliver outstanding financial results.

Concord Hospitality is seeking an experienced hotel leader to manage our Homewood Suites - 1st Ward, in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a 13-story upscale, extended-stay hotel that has 209 suites for guests, 4,000 square feet of street-level retail area, 3,500 square feet of flexible meeting and pre-function space, an expanded fitness center, a pool and a lounge with a large outdoor terrace. It is close to the UNC Charlotte Center City campus, Spectrum Arena, Bank of America Headquarters, and the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.

As a General Manager, you will be instrumental in hiring, motivating and rewarding a winning management team supporting our company’s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones. You will be the liaison with the hotel brand, our owners and with Concord in facilitating a successful business operation through the orchestration of brand training, operational deadlines, providing attention to detail in ordering of supplies and following budget guidelines, as well as networking with city officials as the “face” of this exciting hotel.
