Responsibilities

1. What You'll Do
2. The General Maintenance associate will ensure the hotel’s maintenance and upkeep standards meet WL, Brand, and Guest expectations.
3. Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing all aspects of the Engineering function of the hotel.
4. Clean all engineering areas as directed; work efficiently and help maintain effective hotel operations.
5. Complete assigned work safely and professionally, maintaining communication with supervisors to ensure materials, tools, and supplies are available.
6. Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts and light bulbs.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. What You'll Bring
9. Capability to operate hand and power tools, along with carpentry, plumbing, and painting duties.
10. Basic maintenance knowledge with a desire to learn and develop in specific trades (e.g., electrical, carpentry).
11. High school diploma or equivalent.
12. Valid driver’s license.
13. Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally; stand and move for long periods.
14. At least one year of maintenance experience.
