Job description

Dae Sung, LLC is currently seeking a full-time General Maintenance Mechanic to support our contract to provide operations and mechanical maintenance services at the US Federal Courthouse in Springfield, MA. Hourly Pay Rate: $30.57 per hour. Benefits to include: health & welfare pay, vacation, pension, holiday, sick leave in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Working Schedule: Monday through Friday / 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years' experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

• Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hanging doors and installing locks.
• Replacing broken windowpanes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
