Grand Hyatt DFW, located at Dallas Fort Worth Airport, seeks a Maintenance Person to perform general maintenance and repairs across guest spaces and back-of-house areas. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance and equipment repairs in mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry systems.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of hotel maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to lift and stand for long periods.

Grand Hyatt DFW, located inside Dallas Fort Worth Airport Terminal D, is steps from TSA checkpoints and offers direct access to all terminals. The Maintenance Person will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest suite and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. The Maintenance Person will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Good communication skills
• Good customer skills are also required.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to moderate weight.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, mainly the PM shift of 3:30 PM-12 AM, including holidays and weekends.
