Job summary

Miraval Berkshires is hiring a General Maintenance Engineer to perform general maintenance across guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas. The role includes preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment, as well as pool care and water testing.

HVAC, electrical and plumbing experience are a plus. Minimum three years in building maintenance with hotel experience preferred; strong customer service skills are required.

• Pool operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces and front-of-house areas.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Repair and service HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems as needed.
• Care for and maintain pools and bodies of water, including pool testing.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure quality service.

Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen,and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. This position will also be responsible for care and maintenance of our pools and bodies of water, including pool testing and maintaining range. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience a plus!
