Job summary

Margaritaville at Lanier Islands is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform basic repairs and maintenance across the resort complex in Buford, GA.

You will work with a team to service guest amenities, facilities, water park attractions, marinas, and dining areas, ensuring safe operation and upkeeping. The role requires 18+ with a valid driver’s license and a GED or high school diploma, plus willingness to participate in safety training and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license and a clean MVR for 3 years.
• General knowledge of hand tools and their usage.
• Experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make basic repairs to guest amenities, facilities and resort equipment.
• Work with a team to complete basic repairs and maintenance of the resort.
• Assist with general upkeep and preventative maintenance across Margaritaville at Lanier Islands, including Water Park, Snow Island, Camp Margaritaville RV Resort, Harbor Landing Marina, and Port of Indecision Marina.
• Perform routine inspections to identify issues and respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Maintain safety by following all regulations and keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Assist in maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

SUMMARY

Work with a team of fellow maintenance associates completing basic repair and maintenance of the resort. General upkeep and preventative maintenance in all areas of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands including but not limited to, The Water Park at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands, Snow Island at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands, Camp Margaritaville RV Resort property and facilities, Harbor Landing Marina, and Port of Indecision Marina. LandShark Bar & Grill and LandShark Landing Area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make basic repair to guest amenities, facilities and other resort related equipment.


• Work with a team of maintenance associates to complete basic repairs and maintenance of the resort


• Assist with general upkeep and preventative maintenance in all areas of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands, including but not limited to:


• Fins Up Water Park


• Snow Island


• Camp Margaritaville RV Resort property and facilities


• Harbor Landing Marina


• Port of Indecision Marina


• LandShark Bar & Grill


• LandShark Landing Area

• Perform routine inspections of the resort and its facilities to identify any potential issues


• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff


• Assists in the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems


• Follow all local, state, and federal safety regulations and guidelines


• Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge


• Follow all safety protocols and procedures


• Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized


• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
