Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts as required.
• Arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Uniforms must be clean and in good repair.
• Attend required training and safety courses; attend meetings.
• Report safety hazards and assist in creating a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as needed.
• Interact positively with guests and fellow employees.
• Perform duties independently when appropriate.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, and staff.

Training and Experience

Building engineering/maintenance experience, 2+ years hotel engineering/maintenance experience.

Job Knowledge

Basic knowledge of building maintenance and inspection to include; reporting of maintenance discrepancies.

Job Summary

Repair and maintain all hotel equipment and systems as directed by the needs of the guests and staff

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts as required.
• Arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.
• Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
• Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
• Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair most mechanical electrical and plumbing problems.
• Interact positively with guest and fellow employees.
• Perform duties independently when appropriate.
• Knowledgeable of Material Safety Data Sheets and information they provide including; proper labeling procedures.
• Provide preventive maintenance when appropriate.
• Ability of access high areas utilizing a ladder.
• Follow all company safety rules/guidelines and work in a safe manner.
• Report any areas that need repair to include safety concerns.
• Perform and follow up on any other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering/Chief Engineer.
