Job summary

Wilson Elser in Las Vegas seeks a General Liability Of Counsel with substantial defense litigation experience to grow with the firm and handle substantive defense matters.

The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement with potential remote work within Nevada depending on level and business needs. You will lead complex litigation from initiation to resolution, drafting pleadings and coordinating with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Nevada.
• 8+ years of defense litigation.
• Experience with catastrophic injury, product liability, construction defect, habitability, transportation, or other general liability matters.
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required.
• Experience cross‑examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses preferred.
• Experience handling court appearances, depositions, and trial experience a plus.
• 2ndchair trial experience a plus.
• Superior analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Position
