Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for our Boston, Worcester, or Hartford offices. The role focuses on handling a sophisticated civil litigation docket in insurance defense with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 2–7 years of litigation experience and MA/CT admission. The position offers a hybrid schedule, competitive compensation, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience in insurance defense, general liability, product liability, construction litigation, or related civil litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied litigation caseload including: Construction losses, Liquor liability, Premises liability, Trucking accidents, Product liability matters.
• Gain meaningful courtroom and deposition experience.
• Participate in trial preparation and assist with trial strategy.
• Take and defend depositions; Work directly with experts; Attend site inspections; Draft, argue, and respond to motions.
• Receive ongoing mentorship, skills training, and shadowing opportunities; Benefit from real-time coaching on client communication, discovery strategy, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy.
