Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Practice Group in our San Francisco office. This role offers meaningful litigation experience on high-stakes cases with mentorship from nationally recognized trial attorneys.

You will draft pleadings, argue motions, conduct depositions, manage discovery, and appear in court, gaining hands-on experience from day one.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in California.
• At least 3 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
• Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Team-oriented mindset with ownership-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, file and argue motions, and conduct depositions.
• Manage discovery and coordinate complex discovery issues for high-stakes cases.
• Appear in court and advocate for clients in civil defense matters.
• Receive mentorship from partners and contribute to a high-performance, collaborative environment.
