Job summary

JBA International is seeking a General Liability Associate in California with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to defend corporations, businesses, and insurers in high-exposure general liability matters, including catastrophic injuries.

You will work closely with experienced trial attorneys through all litigation stages, from initial case evaluation and discovery to law and motion and trial prep, with substantial hands-on responsibility and clear paths for growth in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• At least 2+ years of general civil litigation experience.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a General Liability Associate with at least 2+ years of civil litigation experience to join its California team. The position focuses on defending corporations, businesses, and insurers in complex, high-exposure general liability matters, including catastrophic injury cases.

Associates will work closely with experienced trial attorneys and participate in all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation and discovery through law and motion practice and trial preparation. The role provides substantial hands‑on responsibility and opportunities for long-term professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate cases and develop and implement litigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Salary: $125,000–$180,000, depending on experience.
