Job summary

You will conduct depositions, prepare witnesses for deposition and trial, review discovery, and file court documents. Independent, organized professionals with strong research and writing skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Ability to practice law in California.
• Experience with motion practice and depositions.
• Experience leading plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Strong research and writing skills.

• Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Conduct depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Review and analyze discovery requests.
• Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
• Trial preparation and support.

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following practice areas: general liability and construction defect.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
• Experience with motion practice and depositions.
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Capable of independent work.
• Work in an organized and efficient manner.
