Job summary

Mt Pleasant is seeking a dependable person to help with a variety of general shop and production tasks. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m.

This is a temporary part-time position with potential to transition to permanent full-time employment. Responsibilities include preparing and wiping down steel parts for painting, assisting with general shop tasks, light facility maintenance and lawn care, moving materials, following instructions, and learning new tasks as needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Dependable and willing to work
• Comfortable performing physical work in a manufacturing/shop environment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or shop experience is helpful, but not required-we’re willing to train the right person.

This is a temporary part-time position, but there is potential for the position to lead to permanent full-time employment.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
