Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Part-Time General Laborer to work primarily outdoors on our dock, inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for our delivery drivers and customers.

This role emphasizes safety, hands-on activity, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with training provided and opportunities to contribute to a reliable operation across the Ferrellgas network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Citizen or National of the United States or have authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock when applicable.
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders to maintain safety and quality.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing information about products/services.
