Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience in repair, maintenance, fabrication, or similar fields.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Ability to follow verbal and written repair instructions and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment and components.
• Remove, replace, adjust, and assemble parts like hardware, hinges, and brackets.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication and tightening fasteners.
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Assist with metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, welding, and torching as trained.
• Take accurate measurements and check fit and alignment.
• Identify and report damaged parts and unsafe equipment conditions.
• Safely load, unload, and organize materials and tools.
• Prepare surfaces and assist with painting and coatings.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; follow safety procedures.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
