Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer of construction testing equipment in Durham, NC to hire a mechanically inclined General Laborer. This entry-level role offers hands-on production experience and room to learn, grow, and develop new skills.

Responsibilities include operating saws, measuring parts with calipers, assisting with molding and material handling, and safely loading with forklifts.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.
• Comfortable using calipers and various saws.
• Ability to read measurements and work within tight tolerances.
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
• Forklift certification/experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand throughout the day.

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer of construction testing equipment who is seeking a mechanically inclined General Laborer with some manufacturing or machine shop experience to join their team! This is an entry-level opportunity with room to learn, grow, and develop new skills in a hands-on production environment. This is a contract-hire position working 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Operate various saws and assist with cutting raw materials to precise specifications.
• Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality.
• Assist with molding processes, equipment maintenance, and material handling.
• Safely load and unload materials using forklifts and overhead cranes.
