BASIC FUNCTION

Under the direction of the Director, perform a wide variety of complex clerical and typing duties involving frequent and responsible contact with employees and the general public.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
  1. Arrive consistently punctual and prepared to work.
  2. Maintain regular attendance and comply with the attendance record policy.
  3. Demonstrate a positive attitude and behavior.
  4. Present an appropriate appearance.
  5. Exhibit good interpersonal relations.
  6. Complete tasks effectively.
  7. Relate sensitively to all employees.
  8. Answer telephones, greet the public, and provide information.
  9. Operate computer terminal and incorporate software applications.
  10. Schedule appointments.
  11. Process incoming and outgoing mail; duplicate, file, and distribute materials as appropriate.
  12. Prepare and type correspondence, forms, reports, and a variety of other materials, type from oral direction, or rough copy or notes.
  13. Monitor office supplies and equipment; notify supervisor of low inventory status or maintenance issues.
  14. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE OF
  • Operations, procedures, and rules of the office environment.
  • Record-keeping techniques.
