Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Regular Full-Time General Laborer for our Saltillo, MS facility. You will support daily yard, production, and facility operations, helping unload, load, sort and count tires while assisting customers and teammates to ensure safe, efficient site operations.

This role requires physical labor in an outdoor industrial setting, adherence to safety policies, and dependable attendance to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

General Laborer

Job Summary

The General Laborer is responsible for supporting daily yard, production, and facility operations. This position assists with the unloading, loading, sorting, and counting of tires while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. The General Laborer aids customers who visit the facility by helping offload tires and supports other crew members as needed to ensure smooth site operations. This role requires the ability to safely perform physical labor and maintain quality and safety standards at all times.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a tire recycling and industrial environment. Regular exposure to used tires, heavy materials, moving equipment, dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear. Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
