Austin Industrial is seeking a General Laborer to perform various labor-intensive tasks in an industrial setting under the direction of a supervisor or foreman. You may operate hand and power tools, help prepare sites, dig trenches, and assist other craft workers.
You will maintain a clean job site, lift heavy objects, and follow safety procedures, with opportunities to learn on the job. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.

Will perform various labor-intensive tasks in an industrial setting under the direction of a supervisor or foreman. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Other duties may be assigned.

Employees must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and use hands and fingers to perform assigned duties. Positions may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, working at elevations, on uneven surfaces, or in confined spaces. Employees must possess sufficient visual, hearing, communication, and motor skills to safely perform job responsibilities.
Employees must be able to read, comprehend, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies; exercise sound judgment; solve problems; maintain attention to detail; effectively manage stress; and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Education: no minimum education requirements.
Certification/License: State ID Required
Experience: 6+ months of experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
