Job summary

CorTech International is seeking a reliable Warehouse General Laborer to support receiving, sorting, packing, and inventory tasks in our Sumter facility. The role ensures safe, efficient operations and accurate handling of goods in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs while following standard safety procedures. Both full-time and part-time schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior warehouse, general labor, material handling, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: Unload incoming freight, inspect shipments for damage, verify quantities against packing slips, and stage products in designated areas.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and label orders accurately according to pick lists to prepare items for shipment.
• Inventory Handling: Sort, stack, palletize, and store merchandise on shelves or racks. Assist with regular inventory counts and audits.
• Material Movement: Safely operate manual handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and carts to transfer goods throughout the facility.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work zones, aisles, packing areas, and loading docks clean, swept, and free of safety hazards or trash.
• Equipment & Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA standards, company safety procedures, and proper lifting techniques. Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors.
