Must be willing to work either shift (5:45 AM - 6:00 PM or 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM) in a dusty, industrial work environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our Non-Ferrous Material Processing team in South Beloit. This is an entry-level, growth-oriented role where you will learn the "ins and outs" of metal recycling. You will start with general labor and material identification and progress into operating heavy industrial machinery. If you are looking for a physically active role that offers a clear path to a permanent career, this is the position for you.

Role Highlights

• Compensation: $17.75 - $20.00/hr. (varies by shift)
• Benefits: Eligibility for benefits typically begins upon permanent hire after the temp-to-hire period.
• Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM with occasional Fridays) and 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
• Employment Type: DH

What You'll Do

• Material Processing: Assist in the movement and processing of non-ferrous metals using shaker tables and industrial shredders.
• Equipment Operation: Train on and safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, balers, and small loaders.
• Identification & Sorting: Learn to distinguish between various types of non-ferrous metals to ensure high-quality processing.
• Data Entry: Accurately track material weights and types by entering information into the facility's computer system.
• Facility Maintenance: Perform general labor and cleanup tasks to ensure the workspace remains safe and efficient.
