Job Title: Helper (2nd and 3rd Shift) - Richmond VA Facility

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA), a Fortune 500 company, is seeking applications for 2nd and 3rd helpers at our Richmond, VA facility. We are an ideas and solutions company committed to delivering high-quality products and services with a focus on environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Support manufacturing operations to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
2. Assist with various plant and facilities-related tasks, including supporting all jobs on the plant floor.
3. Adhere to all safety protocols, including lock-out tag-out procedures.
4. Maintain shop cleanliness and equipment according to 5S standards.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
6. Stack parts weighing up to 30 lbs. for durations of up to 12 hours as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Good attendance record.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in packaging or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of variable temperatures and work volumes.
