What You’ll Do:

• Promote Safety: Prioritize safety throughout the operation, in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others.
• Perform Physical Activities: Assist with plant operation tasks, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
• Repair and Maintain Equipment: Help service, repair, and adjust various plant equipment.
• Inspect Equipment and Structures: Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
• Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction equipment or similar machinery to support plant operations.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production principles is preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime and extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills: Basic knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
