Job summary

Advance Services, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer in Iowa City, IA, with a daytime Monday–Friday schedule and a 7:00 AM–4:30 PM shift. Pay starts at $16.50 per hour, with immediate hiring.

Duties include packing, labeling, loading/unloading pallets, reporting damages, and wrapping pallets. Applicants must tolerate temperatures as low as -20°F and regularly lift 50–60 lbs. We offer weekly pay, safety and attendance incentives, health benefits, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50Ibs-60Ibs routinely

• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for storing and/or shipping
• Manually load and unload product on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Document and report damages or any issues with products or materials to supervisor and follow instructions to correct the problem
• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine
