Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a production support role at our Harrisonburg facility. The position requires assisting all plant floor jobs and actively contributing to overall plant and facilities tasks while upholding safety rules and 5S standards.

Candidates should be able to work overtime and weekends, and be willing to cover first and second shifts. Strong attendance and reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to work first and second shift.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience in packaging or manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to support manufacturing operations with goals to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist all jobs on the plant floor as needed and take an active role in plant and facilities work.
• Follow all safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S standards.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.

Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.

Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.

Other duties as assigned.

May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or GED.

Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
