Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a General Laborer in Decatur, IL. The role runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a pay of $18 per hour. You will help maintain municipality properties, repair sidewalks, and assist with concrete projects.

Responsibilities include setting up forms, pouring concrete, traffic control, and basic street maintenance. Lifting requirements up to 50 lb and long periods of standing are part of the job. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds (23 kg).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Previous concrete experience would be a plus.

• Repair and replace concrete sidewalks.
• Set up concrete forms and assist with pouring.
• Move and operate equipment using a pickup and trailer.
• Set up traffic barricades and cones.
• Assist in maintenance of storm sewer infrastructure.
• Perform general street labor and mowing as needed.

• Setup concrete forms
• Assist with concrete pouring
• Remove forms
• Setup traffic barricades and cones
• Assist in maintenance of storm sewer infrastructure
• Moving equipment using a pickup truck and trailer
• Also could involve miscellaneous streets labor and mowing
