Job summary

Paskenta Mad River Brewing LLC in Corning, CA is seeking a General Laborer to oversee the final seal-of-approval on all finished products leaving the Brewhouse and ensure orders are prepared for shipping in pristine condition.

You will work with all departments to send out orders on time, maintain accurate inventory records, and operate forklifts and warehouse equipment according to SOPs. This role requires physical stamina and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by the Tribe.

Responsibilities

• Builds outgoing orders while maintaining accurate records of finished product inventory.
• Assists with inventory and ensures controls are being followed.
• Ensures inventory is maintained within the inventory management system.
• Loads outgoing orders onto trucks.
• Receives materials from suppliers.
• Receives and track shipments.
• Schedules freight pick-up of outgoing orders.
• Ensures finished goods are leaving the warehouse in pristine quality.
• Provides constant, attentive and friendly service to customers and vendors.
• Responsible for packing merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
• Assists with production and packaging operations when needed.

The General Laborer works with all departments in the Brewhouse to ensure all orders are sent out timely and accurately.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Builds outgoing orders while maintaining accurate records of finished product inventory
• Assists with inventory and ensures controls are being followed
• Ensures inventory is maintained within the inventory management system
• Conducts monthly inventory of packaging materials and finish goods for auditing/accounting
• Loads outgoing orders onto trucks
• Receives materials from suppliers
• Receives and track shipments
• Schedules freight pick-up of outgoing orders
• Ensures finished goods are leaving the warehouse in pristine quality
• Provides constant, attentive and friendly service to customers and vendors
• Uses appropriate equipment and follows proper SOPs for all duties
• Responsible for handling fragile packaging materials
• Responsible for ensuring the warehouse is stocked and organized
• Responsible for packing merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Assists with production and packaging operations when needed.
• Ensures efficient palletization
• Processes and files various documents
• Operates heavy machinery
• Sorts empty kegs.
• Stocks the taproom as needed
• Forklift maintenance as needed
• Maintains a clean and safe environment in the warehouse
• Assists with Cellar duties, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work long hours of heavy manual labor
• Must be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and have a positive attitude
• Must possess a strong sense of integrity
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Must have an open mind and the ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Understanding of OSHA and industry safety standards.
• Basic computer knowledge is required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous shipping & receiving experience is preferred
• Forklift certification is preferred
