Job summary

PCA in Concord, NC is seeking a production support worker to assist all plant floor operations and collaborate with manufacturing teams. The role focuses on increasing productivity, reducing downtime, and minimizing waste while following safety rules.

You will work second or third shifts, overtime, and must maintain excellent attendance. Physical tasks include stacking parts up to 30 lbs and operating in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support a manufacturing operation to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist all plant floor jobs and collaborate with production personnel.
• Follow all safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.

• Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to work second or third shift.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Possess an understanding that temperatures and volumes of work may vary.
